Gentle cleansing for skin and hair

The word rhassoul is derived from the Arabic verb for to wash, ‘rhassala’. It consists of natural clay minerals, and was already used for washing and cleansing the body in antiquity. White kaolin contains an especially fine, light-coloured clay. When mixed with water, the clay swells and develops a pleasant gel-like consistency, which absorbs dirt particles and excess oil like blotting paper. Rhassoul and white kaolin are free from surfactants and are tolerated well by the skin. They cleanse without irritating. Hair is left silky-soft, shiny and smooth.
